How does it work?
Well, NetRunners® was
designed to be easy to find, easy to order and pleasant to deal with. When you
call 1.877.NetRunners , you will speak to an Operator in our service center who
will listen to what you think the problem is. While our Operators are not
qualified to diagnose and troubleshoot problems, they will be able to provide
you with a rough estimate of the likely fee for a Site Engineer to come to your
location and address your issue. This is only an estimate because only a Site
Engineer is qualified to give you a more definitive quote, based on his on-site
diagnosis. If the amount the Site Engineer quotes you is significantly higher
than what the Operator estimated, then you can still decide if you would like
us to perform the service. If you change your mind, then we will only charge
you a nominal "Quick-Fix/Diagnostic fee".
What areas do you service?
We service Southeast Florida, including Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach
Counties.
Is there a separate "trip charge"?
No. Not if you live in the Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach County area.
Outside this area, or in the extreme western parts of these three counties, there may be a small fee.
How do I schedule an on-site service call?
Simply call 1.877.NetRunners , or send us an e-mail from this website.
What are your operating hours?
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8.00 am to 6.00 PM.
However, our service hours are from 7.00 AM to 7.00 PM, Monday through Friday,
and we schedule the last service call at 7.00 PM. Our business clients
certainly appreciate that we can arrive outside their office hours so we don't
interfere with their operations. And we don't charge anything extra for service
calls that start during service hours.
But sometimes, the inevitable happens. Just before an important deadline your
system crashes or network is down. No problem! We can be there. Obviously we
charge more for off-hours service visits (9.00 PM - 7.00 AM and weekends and
holidays), but just call 1.877.NetRunners and our systems will page all
available Site Engineers with your request.
How can you guarantee such a short response time?
Our Site Engineers are stationed throughout the Service Area and are
electronically linked to our dispatch center. In this arrangement, our
dispatch center can determine the exact status and location of each Site
Engineer and decide which Site Engineer will be available to visit you. The
dispatch center is also keeping track of your appointment time so should there
be a delay due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances, the dispatcher will be
able to alert you and give you a fairly exact time the Site Engineer will
arrive on-site. (..we may as well practice what we preach!).
Do you sell hardware and software?
Yes, we do as a convenience to our clients. Suppose we need a specific part to
get you up and running again. We carry the more common parts so we don't have
to go and get it which would be an inconvenience. While we sell that part at
competitive "street prices", we really don't mind if you bring your own parts
and we will use these.
Do you service Apple systems?
We service Windows-based PC systems only.
