What are their qualifications?
Every NetRunners® Site
Engineer is a top-notch professional who has extensive training and experience
before he or she is allowed to service our clients.
Most Site Engineers are certified by COMPTIA and have passed the A+ exam. This
certification ensures Site Engineers have a thorough understanding of the
hardware components of a computer system. Inside and out!
In addition, Site Engineers are Microsoft Certified Professionals and most have obtained
advanced Microsoft certifications in System Engineering (MCSE), System
Administration (MCSA), or Database Administration (MCDBA).
Because of the importance of the Internet and networking in general, most Site
Engineers are also certified by Cisco, the leader in networking technology. A
Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certificate is further assurance
that our Site Engineers are up-to-date with the latest networking and security
protocols.
Finally, all Site Engineers have at least several years' hands-on experience
serving both home and business users before they join NetRunners®.
How do they obtain these qualifications?
Simple: they study for it. Hard! And it is not cheap either. For instance, to
obtain Microsoft's System's Engineer certification, a Site Engineer has to
study about 4 to 5 months fairly intensively, and pass a difficult exam. Total
tuition and exams: about $9,000.
Do you check their backgrounds?
Yes. Even though they have excellent credentials, before they become a
NetRunners® Site Engineer, we
perform an extensive reference and background check, so you can be comfortable
that the Site Engineer handling your sensitive data and equipment is fully
qualified to support you. No exceptions.
How Do I Recognize A NetRunners® Site Engineer?
All our Site Engineers will arrive at your site in one of our company's
"NetMobiles" with the NetRunners®
logo prominently displayed on all sides. In addition, they carry a
NetRunners® ID badge with photo
identification. If they don't, please call us immediately.
